AIRSIDE SALE

Posted by Steven Roberts

After announcing that they are to shut up shop soon, Airside held a sale today in their studio in Islington. So I went down with Nick and we went to see what was on offer! After finding out about the sale on Twitter, we knew it was going to be pretty busy but anyway off we went. Inside they were selling lots of original design work (some really nice posters) and also giving a lot of stuff away as well which was nice, I got myself a few airside calendars and also a student D&AD Annual which I was chuffed with! Down one end of the studio which was named “The expensive end” was an auction of some of Airside’s best work! Wish I could of afforded to bid but sadly I couldn’t! It was a really good way of emptying the studio and put a smile on everyones face as well. Sorry about the dodgy Iphone photos though.

  1. Looks great. I would have been like a ‘pig in shit’ if I had been there. Not to put too fine a point on it. &y

Typical &y haha. Made me chuckle.

  3. Looks like there was some lovely stuff up for grabs, gutted I didn’t know it was happening!

  4. Think you’d be proud Andy, that last photo is about half the stuff i managed to pick up. Plus got myself 2 A1 screenprints, an A1 embossed print of the lyrics to imagine by Lennon and an A2 print of airsides Typadelic lecture poster. The total came to £27 including the stuff in that final photo. Bargain, plus I got to meet Fred Deakin!
