Last year we launched a new brand for Alzheimer’s Australia. The disease is already Australia’s third biggest killer – and yet – no one is even talking about it. By 2020 it threatens to kill more Australians than cancer and there is currently no cure. The new brand is designed to start a grassroots movement that can not only create awareness, but mobilise an entire nation to generate the funding to find a cure.
Here’s a short film of the brand launch – a 500 person protest on the steps of Parliament House – to fight for $500m worth of extra funding and support from the government for people living with the disease.
