NOBODY TOLD ME

Texan artist and author of Newspaper Blackout, Austin Kleon, has put together this great little article detailing ten simple pieces of advice he wishes he’d been told while still at college.
There’s plenty of food for thought in there for any aspiring artist / designer.
His comments about being selective in what media you consume and what you allow yourself to be influenced by seem especially relevant in a time of such an abundance of information (and of relentless crap reality tv).
