Saw this video for the first time in years the other day and I thought it was worth sharing. Pale Blue Dot is written and narrated by the late great Carl Sagan. Having completed its primary mission and now leaving the solar System, Carl asked NASA to turn Voyager 1′s camera around and to take a photograph of Earth across a great expanse of space. Enjoy…

Carl Sagan’s Cosmos is definitely worth a look in as well!
Couldn’t agree more. I’d also recommend getting hold of a copy of his book ‘Murmurs of Earth’ – to my mind one of the best design books ever written. (Michael Johnson wrote a short piece about it on his blog here a while back (www.johnsonbanks.co.uk/thoughtfortheweek/index.php?thoughtid=510)
