When type designer Andrew Byrom brought a new desk, he came up with an idea with what to do with his old one – He cut it up and made business cards out of them.
“The old desk (shown below) was cut into 3.5 x 2 inch blocks, then the text, set in my newest typeface Byrom Sans, was silk-screened onto each block in white ink.”
I think I’d rather have that sat on my desk than a pile of dog eared cards.
What a novel idea. Especially for the ones who got the rounded corners, those are the ‘collector pieces’.
