STARBUCKS NEW LOGO

Posted by Mike Rigby

In March, Starbucks will celebrate their 40th anniversary with the launch of a new logo and identity. More here.

From the CEO:

Throughout the last four decades, the Siren has been there through it all. And now, we’ve given her a small but meaningful update to ensure that the Starbucks brand continues to embrace our heritage in ways that are true to our core values and that also ensure we remain relevant and poised for future growth.

  1. i like it. In my opinion; its an iconic logo, so it doesn’t need all the extra bits. Still easily recognisable and looks much cooler.

With every iconic logo it loses its type at some point as it has become so recognisable it is no longer needed.

  4. M Upton says:

very nice development of their logo

would be interesting to know why they use a siren as their corporate symbol though…
