John Lloyd – Founding Partner of Lloyd Northover Design Consultants, has been in touch with TDOD regarding his newly launched web archive. A reflection of fifty years of endeavour as a graphic designer and creative director from 1960 to the present day.

John explains:

“…its purpose is to provide a selective record of my work as a graphic designer and creative director, and to share some reflections on graphic design and branding practice.”

Well worth taking some time to have a good browse here. There is some fantastic work and the craftsmanship of the pre-MAC era really shines through.

The PRIBA job in the ‘Early Work’ section looks like it’s influenced a fair bit of stuff in the whole ‘framing photos with your logo’ genre that was popular a couple of years back. Amazing.
