BEARING ALL

Friday, May 22nd, 2009 by Jordan Stokes

I went along to the D&AD talk by Luke Williamson (ex-Mother & WCRS) in Manchester last night. After also going to the David Hillman and Jonathan Ellery talks (which don’t get me wrong were fantastic and inspirational) last night had to be my favourite. Luke has a brilliant sense of humour and he talked through work ranging from stuff he’d done straight out of college to work he’d done more recently. Some of his advertising work is brilliant with some really clever ideas for clients like Sky, Dr Pepper, Diesel & Orange, it’s well worth a look into. My favourite piece of work he showed was a short advert for TFL, which i thought i’d share as it made me laugh and left me gobsmacked at the same time.
