Saturday, March 14th, 2009 by BillyThe Big Picture is a project to create the biggest photo album in the West Midlands where the people there submitted over 110,000 photos. ITA
Thursday, March 12th, 2009 by AndyB
Can anyone remember this? ITA was an experiment carried out in selected primary schools in the late 60’s and early 70’s. It was a phonetic alphabet (American in origin) and an attempt to teach very young children how to spell things as they sound. It failed and was pulled by educational authorities when they realised it was having the opposite effect.
An absolutley barmy concept.
